Jillian Conrad speaks about her use of abstraction and form to challenge perceptions of materiality and the intangible. She also discusses the tension between the natural and constructed worlds that bridge the visible and invisible. Her work is included in the exhibition, What drawing can be: four responses, on view from March 21–August 10, 2025 at the Menil Drawing Institute.
