Lecture by George Baker: Drawing According to Tacita Dean

George Baker, Professor and Chair, Department of Art History at UCLA, uses passages from his latest book, Lateness and Longing: On the Afterlife of Photography, to respond to and open up questions around the Tacita Dean: Blind Folly exhibition. His book examines the fate of photography and film in contemporary art in relationship to the work of four artists: Moyra Davey, Tacita Dean, Zoe Leonard, and Sharon Lockhart. Copresented with the University of Houston Art History Program.
