Salon with Guest Artist Cécile McLorin Salvant

Join Natalie Dupêcher, Associate Curator of Modern Art, The Menil Collection, and Sarah Rothenberg, DACAMERA Artistic Director, for a conversation and informal performance by Cécile McLorin Salvant, copresented with DACAMERA.

Cécile McLorin Salvant, a vocalist, composer, and visual artist with three consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Vocal Album, was a 2020 MacArthur Fellow. This salon follows McLorin Salvant’s residence at the Menil Collection and offers a dynamic exploration of the synergy between artist Joe Overstreet’s work and the rich spirit of jazz that he loved.
