Michelle White, Senior Curator, The Menil Collection discusses a new acquisition by renowned American painter Alice Neel (1900–1984); the 1977 portrait of the New York-based artist and activist Faith Ringgold (1930–2024) which is on view in the Portraits of Women from the Collection installation.
